Why JMH benchmarks scores are lower on Oracle Linux 8 than on 7?

User_SGW4PJan 9 2023

Same Hardware:
4 CPUs of Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6242 CPU @ 2.80GHz
8G memory
JDK 1.7.0_75-b13 & JDK build 17.0.5+8
We run JMH 1.35 jmh-core-benchmarks on three servers:
Oracle Linux 8.7 (Linux 5.15.0-3.60.5.1.el8uek.x86_64 )
Oracle Linux 8.7 (Linux 4.18.0-425.3.1.el8.x86_64)
Oracle Linux 7.9 (Linux 3.10.0-1160.71.1.el7.x86_64)
But the JMH Scores on two 8.7 servers (UEK is a little bit better than RHCK) are lower than that on 7.9.

Should Oracle Linux 8.7 has better performance than 7.9?
Looking for your reply, thanks!
