I'm trying to install Oracle Database 19c on my Windows 11 Pro device, but whenever I try to run the setup.exe file, it gets stuck at the "Launching Oracle Database 19c Installer" stage. (See screenshots below.) I've left it to run for close to an hour and it doesn't do anything.
Based on comments I've seen on this forum and elsewhere, I've tried:
Changing the unzipped folder's name to db_home
Moving the unzipped folder directly into the C: drive
Running as admin
Extracting the folder using 7-Zip instead of the Windows zip utility
Adding the setup.exe file as an exception in my antivirus software
None of those worked.
I also tried downloading and installing 21c, but it did the same thing.
Can anyone help me figure out how to get the installer to launch?
