How can I configure smb/server using a logical name instead it's hostaname.

user9353573Nov 22 2022

I'm running a cluster and wants to setup a smb/server using a logical name. I've configured the keyttab file with logical hostname but the idmap service wants the hostanme instead of the logical name eg hostname smbserver1 logical name smbserver keytab populated with SMBSERVER$@domain but
smbclntd[854]: [ID 702911 daemon.error] smbns_krb: getting initial credentials via keytab (Keytab contains no suitable keys for SMBSERVER1$@domain)
While using samba one could both specify the name and the keytab how is this accomplished in smb/server in Solaris ? I tried to use kclient with -h but it didn't seems to work with -T ms_ad
Thanks Gunnar Gunnarsson
