Hello together,
I just tried to install APEX on my private computer alongside the guides for installing the DB, APEX, ORDS and Tomcat. Most of the stuff just worked the way it should, but now I'm running into a problem insode the Page Designer. Whenever I open a page there, I just get the error:
1 error has occurred
Error: SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data
Nothing else loads after that, so I cant really see anything in the designer.
I tried to reinstall APEX as well as ORDS but nothing seems to work.
Using an example application does the same as creating a new one.
OS: Windows 11
Database: Oracle Database 21c Express Edition Release 21.0.0.0.0
APEX: Application Express 20.2 (installed in XEPDB1)
ORDS: Oracle REST Data Services 22.2.1.r2021302
Tomcat: Apache Tomcat 9.0.67 Server
I can create new workspaced, new apps, new pages, install example apps and even work with them in the "frontend". But the second I go into the page designer I'm doomed..
Can someone help me? I have no idea what to try next..
Stuff I tried:
googled a lot
reinstall APEX
reinstall ORDS
export application and import into apex.oracle.com -> works just fine
